Mani's & Pedi's

Gel polish is harder than standard nail polish and needs a UV light to cure. Gel polish usually last longer as well. Gel nails usually need redoing every 3-5 weeks.

This option uses good old fashioned nail polish.  It takes longer to dry than gel nails, so please be careful to avoid smudging them before you leave the salon!

Acrylic tips are false nails glued to your nail bed.  They are clipped and filed to your preferred length, then painted with gel polish.  The tips should last as long as it takes for the nail to grow out and can be painted multiple times.

Our express manis and pedis take 30 mins and, if you’d like, includes a paint using our standard Bio Sculpture nail polish.

This is a Balsan liquid solution applied to very dry or cracked feet using cotton wool swabs to help remove dead skin.

A treatment where your hands or feet are dipped into a warm paraffin wax bath to moisturise and soften your skin. The wax is a combination of paraffin and essential oils, and the treatment can be repeated multiple times to achieve the desired level of softness and hydration.

Our Rock & Roll manis and pedis are exclusively for our rocking oldies over 60.

Facials & Skin Care

This facial includes procedures that aim to tighten the skin, restore elasticity and reduce the prominence of wrinkles.

A multi-step skin treatment that includes cleansing, exfoliation using steam, a face mask, a gentle facial massage and then finishing with a nourishing moisturiser.

A facial peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the face to remove the top layers of dead skin cells for a more rejuvenated facial profile and better product penetration.

It is recommended to maintain facial peels every 4-6 weeks.

A procedure where impurities and congestion on the back are cleared away to reveal clean skin and pores.

A cleansing lotion is used followed by a hydrating moisturiser.

Hair Removal

Hot wax is most commonly used on the bikini area and underarms.  This wax is usually very warm and goes on thick.  It is most effective for very sensitive skins and stubborn hair growth.

Strip wax is used on legs and arms as well as facial areas.  This wax is usually warm and applied using a spatula, then removed using a strip of fabric.

This is a method of hair removal where hair is plucked out from the follicle by using a twisted cotton thread. This is most commonly used on eyebrows and facial hair.

Both are types of a bikini wax.

The Brazilian usually leaves a neat strip of hair in the centre of the bikini area, whereas a Hollywood is completely bare, all hair is removed.

Lashes & Brows

Tinting lashes and brows is simply a dye applied to the area to darken the hairs.  Tinting lasts approximately 4-6 weeks.

Brow shaping involves either waxing or threading to shape the brows.

Brow lamination is almost like a perm for your eyebrows; similar to the well-known lash lift treatment. It is a way of enhancing what you already have by manipulating the hairs with chemicals. The treatment is often paired with a brow tint for a bolder look.

A lash lift is a process where the natural lashes are curled and lifted, making lashes appear longer and eyes more open.

This is a process where false lashes are added individually to your own lashes for a fuller look.

A semi-permanent technique for enhancing the appearance of eyebrows, where pigment is scratched into the skin in short strokes to resemble hair using a hand tool with a blade formed of tiny needles.
